When was a time you treated someone badly and thought it wasn’t a big deal, only to be treated that way later in life?

  1. Honestly, I don’t tend to treat people badly on purpose, so for me it’s “ghosting” people I was once close with or friends with and looking at it like we just grew apart, or something. Later in life, I’ve been ghosted enough that if I haven’t heard from you in 1-3 months, I will reach out. From there I will decide if it’s worth pursuing further.

I tend to roll solo and move a million miles a minute, so it’s easy for me to “forget” about people. But when it happens to you, it makes you realize how shitty it is to do to someone else, regardless of how busy you think you are. Most of the time, a 1-5 text conversation is plenty to keep a friendship alive, even in the busiest of times.

  2. I treated my ex wife like shit. I took her for granted instead of breaking up with her, she got the last laugh and I’m a much better person from it.
