Hi All,
My partner and I are in the process of trying to buy our first house (solid timing I know) and are trying to get together a list of suburbs we want to start looking in.
From what we’ve seen so far Zillmere seems affordable and has a lot of the amenities we’re looking for but I’ve also heard it can be (or at least used to be) on the dodgy side.
Does any one have any experience with living/working in the suburb? How do you find it to live in day to day?

Damn thanks for all the responses! Sounds like it’s rep has been earned over a long time but is hopefully getting better. Also sounds like north of the tracks isn’t a first choice for places to buy.
