  1. Uve’s second life, or Second life of
Uve. Maybe it’s called differently in English. Man I’ve been crying for almost the entire film. It’s about a bitter old man whose wife passed away from cancer and he is trying to take his own life to follow her, but fails every time. It’s a heartwarming and a touching movie, I highly recommend it.

  2. Pig with Nicholas Cage… I was told it was John Wick with Nic Cage and a pig instead of a dog… It was not not in any capacity. I think I would have liked it more if I wasn’t expecting what I was told.

Nicolas did a great job though. He wasn’t doing his usual derpy method acting and took the role seriously and if I didn’t know it was him I’d have never guessed.

The overall message of the movie was pretty good though. How the whole farm to table douchebag restaurant industry isn’t as whippy dippy and wholesome as they like to portray.

I’ll have to give it another watch sometime to say if I truly enjoyed it.

  3. F9, watched it for 20 minutes and laughed so hard it brought tears to my eyes with the Bollywood style action. But then my wife fell asleep so gonna finish watching another time

  4. Seobok. Korean 2021 SF film. Different take on situation resembling one from Ex Machina.

Good film. Not great but solid and worth watching. This is the kind of film I love Korean cinema for.

  5. Jungle Cruise.

I was entertained, as was my friend. We didn’t expect, and got what we expected. Light, family friendly adventure.

It made me want to watch The African Queen.

  6. Parasite.

    Yeah.

It was weird but I’m kinda sick of mainstream stuff. It felt unpredictable in a good way.

I also liked Tenet and Speed Racer. I watched Speed Racer cause I’m trying to stay hyped for The Matrix 4, and I got bored of Sense8.
