How to stop wanting to feel more for a woman when your brain yells at you to not do it

I met this awesome woman a while back and there was a time where I was certain I wanted to date her, but timing never got it right, but we have been really good friends ever since and talk or text to each other all the time. Over time my feelings of her got really conflicted when I got to know her more and more, where at one side I can list so many reasons I should not date her. But then always there slips in a thought of wanting to see where it can lead, even though timing is not there nor is life helping. How can I be more objective in this ordeal?

  1. No matter how much you guys MIGHT end up loving each other. If the timing is not right and you’re life is not atleast manageable… y’all are going to end up very frustrated in your relationship. Stay friends with her until the time is right.

  2. Okay, so I’ve been right where you are, and I’m going to tell you exactly what’s going on.

You’re lonely. Your brain has attached to her, possibly just because she’s there. Find a better option, man. There’s likely someone else who would not set off a million alarm bells for you.
