  1. Guess I will be doing that dishes that night. If you can’t date someone that support a rival and still enjoy the game, you are doing it wrong. Even making small friendly bets like losers team has to make dinner and do the dishes is fine. If you get so butt hurt that you can’t take “your team” losing, you have other issues.

  2. I know a few Eagles-WFT and Phillies-Braves marriages, both 2 different couples. There is a little fun it. I don’t see myself dating or marrying a Yankee fan but I think it is foolish to think a fabric of a marriage deteriorates over sports.

  3. Sports are supposed to be a pleasant distraction from real life and a time to have fun with people, especially people you care about. If you care so much about it that it gets in the way of the entertainment and bonding time, you need to take a step back and re-evaluate what matters in your life.

  4. Hasn’t happened yet. My team is the local team that happens to be defending champions, and they are on a hot streak. Her team is one she picked because they remind her of her favorite fictional vampire character.
