Erroneous SPER Fine

Hi guys,

Bit of an odd issue.

I’ve been issued with a SPER debt demand letter for failing to comply with a Toll Demand Notice in Brisbane in April 2018.

Problem is…We only moved to Brisbane from Sydney in February 2020.

And the registration is not for a vehicle I own.

Now I did have a Queensland driving license back in 2011, but we moved to Sydney in 2012 and lived there until February last year, so it would have been suspended (dormant?) while I had my NSW driving licence.

Any ideas with how this could happen? Or the best way forward?

Being the weekend I can’t get through to SPER as they are only open Mon-Friday.
