Do you have any go to cd that you listen to in your car when you are alone?

as the title says i would like to know if this is common practice for men or if it’s just something my dad does to let off some steam. i was able to discover so much good music that i wasn’t aware of thanks to this.

Edit: i actually meant album not cd

  1. It was a joke when I found it at a thrift store in high school, but while I normally listen to music on my phone, in my CD player the album I permanently have in is the [Pokemon 2.B.A Master CD](

    It’s such a wonderful time capsule and still gets me hyped each time I listen to it.

  2. Yes, I have many. And yes, I have actual CD’s too. My dad had a literal box full of CDs in his car.

    A few favorites I keep in my car, in case I can’t use my phone for whatever reason:

    * Several albums by Guster, an amazingly talented and versatile band

    * Several Goo Goo Dolls albums, including one B-sides Greatest Hits

    * World on Fire by Slash ft. Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators

    * Hopes and Dreams, by Keane

    * The Reason, by Hoobastank

    Might be missing a couple, but I think that’s it. I keep them in a visor thingamajig in my car.

  3. What’s a CD?

    But seriously, I don’t have any particular album, but I have playlists for different “moods”, that I play when I feel a certain way. Including for when I drive.

    And yeah, I find that just driving around aimlessly, with just the right music playing in the background, is very therapeutic.
